Fishing Trips

The McKenzie River is renowned for its world-class trout fishing. It is abundantly stocked with Rainbow Trout and gives you the opportunity to land a resident Redside Trout. All native trout must be released back to the McKenzie River to ensure a future for these magnificent fish. The trout season runs from the end of April until mid November. June through September is the peak season.
